Spring break is here! As a mama of four littles myself I know the struggle of finding fun and new things to do if you happen to be in town over spring break. I am a gwinnett county based photographer, but we go wherever the fun is when we need something to do! I’m going to share some of my favorite budget friendly things to do in Atlanta over spring break here!
Free Ikea Atlanta Event! Ikea is located at 441 16th St NW, Atlanta, GA
Ikea is hosting a FREE kids event Monday April 3rd-April 7th from 11AM-3PM! Stop by there for something FREE to do! More info on there website here.
Spring Break Family Fun at the Atlanta Botanical Garden. This event is free with Garden Admission. The Atlanta Botanical Garden is located a 1345 Piedmont Ave NE Atlanta, GA 30309
This event is Monday April 3rd-April 7th from 10AM-Noon! Enjoy drop in activities, storybook time, dancing and natural egg dying! Events are on specific days! More info on their website here.
Painting with a Twist Spring Break Fun: Glow Series- Jellyfish. This event is is $30 per person. Painting with a Twist Atlanta is located at 2140 Peachtree Rd NW Suite 305 Atlanta, GA 30309.
Family Day is Tuesday, April 4th from 12:00PM-1:30PM and is recommended for ages 7 and up! Bring your own drinks and food! More info can be found on their website here.
Stone Mountain Spring Fun Break. The cost for this event varies! Stone Mountain Park is located at U.S. Highway 78 East, Exit 8, Stone Mountain, GA 30087.
Enjoy specialty entertainment like Puppy Pals Comedic Stunt Dog Show, and park attractions like Dinosaur Explore, Scenic Railroad, 4-D Theater and more. Plus, stay into the night for the Lasershow Spectacular (select dates please check calendar). More info can be found on their website here.
Last, but not least and somewhere we will likely visit is Six Flags Over Georgia! The kids scored season passes as Christmas gifts, but this is a great time to head there! There is also currently a Spring Break Pass Sale you won’t want to sleep on! Six flags over Georgia is located at 275 Riverside Parkway, SW, Austell, Georgia 30168.
